Journal Entry 4

Oh my oh my we are in Oregon. I am so relieved that we all made it safely. My family is all still alive while my daughter is still sick I think that will get better now that we are no longer going to be walking and having to camp each night. The trip was more than I could have ever expected. We met the Indians and had many decisions to make along the way. The Indians were ever so kind in giving my baby some moccasins to keep her little feet warm, they may have even saved her young life. Now that we have arrived however I do not know what we will do. I mean the first thing is we need a place to live. But my husband has found a church to preach at so he will begin working right away.
